Easter 2012

Easter this year was AWESOME!  We had such a fun day.  Church was wonderful, the kids had a fun time doing Egg hunts and we had some amazing food with family.  Great day!

Cruisin' Mexico

We had a fantastic trip to the Mexican Rivera with the Felt Family.  For Christmas this year my generous parents gave us a cruise for the entire family.  We were thrilled to have some time with the Arizona Cousins and a chance to make some great memories.  We all got to LA where our boat left and we boarded the "Ship Hotel", as Jackson has named it and we were off.  Cruising is a nice way to travel, but I was surprised at how nice it was with small children.  The Cruise line was extremely accommodating for  families with small children.  We had a couple stops in Mexico- one was Cabo San Lucas, we were there for two days and then we stopped in Puerto Vallarta.  We had lots of great beach time.  The kids played and played.  We built sand castles, then smashed the sand castles.  My favorite part was watching Parker run into the cold water and then hurry out and lay face forward into the sand, grab a big handful to get warm and then he'd run back into the water. We rented a wave runner one day which was a lot of fun.  And we found fish tacos everyday for lunch.

Our time on the ship consisted of playing in the pool, then hanging out on the splash pad, taking naps and playing cards.  We had a great trip and we wish we were back sitting on the beach enjoying some family time. Some of my favorite memories from the trip were playing cards with the entire family, eating delicious food and listening to Parker talk about his "cycle bike".  Thank you mom and dad for making this trip possible!  We cashed in some fun tickets and made some incredible memories.

Each night we'd come in from dinner and there would be a special animal made out of towels waiting for us as well as chocolates.  Parker would walk in wave "hi" to the animal and then proceed to hand out the chocolates to everyone in the room, "one for mommy, one for Jack, one for daddy and one for Parkie".
