Jackson turned four at the beginning of the month and we celebrated with a Pirate Party ARRRGGG! We had SO much fun! Jack had some friends over and they learned how to become a Pirate. We took the theme from one of our favorite children's book- "How I Became a Pirate". At the party we read the book, then we learned how to walk the plank, dig for gold in the sand, we had a sword fighting class, we learned how to throw cannonballs and of course Pirates must know how to fish. We ate one of Captain Jackson's favorite meals, pizza then topped off the party with cupcakes and a treasure hunt. Jack is a joy to have around. He is full of energy and loves to learn. Jack has grown-up so much in the past year. We love you Jackson and Happy Birthday!

so fun megg! love that you dressed up too! :) what a great mom you are. and so creative! who doesn't love a treasure hunt and sweets?! :) can't believe he's had another birthday! we need to do a play date again soon!
